A Typical Schedule

Uninterrupted work periods are an important part of our day at Squall Point. Within our Montessori environment, we follow the philosophy to allow each child a set period of time where they can complete different tasks at their own tempo. This provides the time necessary for students to learn at their own pace, build concentration, independence, order, and for their interests in a topic to grow deeper.

At Squall Point our schedule is considered flexible. When work periods are going well we will often offer extended time and that means some projects may take longer than anticipated. If a project is not moving smoothly we will move to plan B and allow time to regroup and reconsider our methods.

Children who enjoy their work look forward to attending school each day and it is our job to create a love of learning rather than a forced relationship.
